October birthdays were celebrated in both the CE2 classes last Friday. Richard, William, Gwendolyn and Chloé D all have birthdays in October. Thanks to Richard's mum for the cupcakes, Gwendolyn's mum for the chocolate cake and Chloé's dad for the chocolate balls (Truffles) ! Happy Birthday to all 4 of them!

Run for Fun Photographs
A very big well done to all the kids today for persevering in the hot sun and running their socks off for a full half hour this morning!
Thank you very much to those whom have returned a donation which will go to the Harmony Homes Orphanage here in Taipei. You can be sure that the full donation will go towards helping out this wonderful charity, and that it will make a difference to the lives of children that aren't so lucky as ours.
If you haven't yet made a donation and would like to do so, please return the pledge form along with your donation to either Maeva, Charles or the office as soon as you can.
Thanks again!

Baking Scones
On Tuesday and Wednesday the children baked some scones as part of the week of taste. Scones are a traditional tea time treat in England and are usually eaten with a generous serving of strawberry jam and clotted cream and a pot of tea.
Unfortunately time was against us on Tuesday and Wednesday so we didn't get a chance to eat our scones at school so I baked some more today with the CE2f children and we ate them in the classroom this afternoon instead, for that authentic English experience... (except we had to substitute the clotted for whipped cream....)
